Job Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Manager of Customer Service, you’ll serve as a lead liaison between SourceGas and our customer service group (in-house and/or third party).
- You will lead the coordination of customer service training for field personnel.
- Assist with the resolution of customer service and billing issues.
- You’ll oversee the development of the customer service and billing procedural manuals (for both SourceGas and Accenture policies and procedures) and be responsible for maintenance of those policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development of a training/orientation program for new hires in the field (specifically Field Assistants).
- Take the lead role in coordinating and preparing responses to all state Public Service Commission complaints.
- Track, monitor and proactively approach these complaints in an effort to reduce them.
- Understand, apply and monitor compliance with applicable internal rules, state tariffs and commission regulations.
- Assist in developing a positive work relationship between commission staff, field personnel and third party contractors.
Educational Requirements
- Experience within the Energy/Utilities/Oil and Gas industry (particularly working with Public Service commission regulatory staffs) is highly desirable, yet not necessarily essential.
- A distinguished project management history and the associated skills that come along with that history are essential, as is the demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and assist in implementation.
- An understanding of the "retail" business within the natural gas industry would be a considerable plus.
- An undergraduate degree in an applicable field is strongly preferred. Candidates without an undergraduate degree yet possess five or more years of high level customer service experience will also be considered.
Job Requirements
- We ask that you possess the ability to speak in an articulate way and communicate clearly and effectively through writing.
- The successful candidate will have good presentation skills and a disposition immediately identifiable as being synonymous with a clear understanding of what defines exceptional customer service.
- This position may incorporate non-traditional hours as needed.
- You may be required to carry a company-provided cell phone and may be required to be available to respond to during both business hours and after hours.
- Travel within the company’s indigenous areas of geographic operations (currently Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Arkansas, but will likely expand) – as well as travel to and from locations maintained by our third party contractor – may be required. This travel could be defined by overnight and/or weekend travel.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency within a Windows-based environment is required.
